How does spaced repetition work in SmartRecall?

SmartRecall uses the SM-2 algorithm — the same scientifically-validated scheduler behind SuperMemo and Anki — to surface each card at the optimal interval based on how easy or hard you found it.

Can I import my own PDFs and notes?

01I already subscribe on the web. Do I need to pay again on iOS?

No. The same SmartRecall account carries entitlements across platforms. But if you want to start a subscription on iOS for the first time, Apple policy requires it to go through App Store IAP.

02Does the iOS app work offline?

Yes. Downloaded decks are cached locally, and today's review works without a network connection. Generating new cards requires connectivity.

03Will my web decks sync to iOS?

Yes. Sign in with the same account and all decks, review progress, and SM-2 parameters sync in real time.

04How do refunds work on the App Store?

File a request at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple handles all IAP refunds — SmartRecall cannot initiate them directly.

05What sign-in methods does iOS support?

Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, and the same email/password used on the web. We recommend Sign in with Apple — fastest and most private.
